Dr Stephen Harlamb graduated from the University of Sydney in 1986 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He obtained his specialist degree in Endodontics (MDSc) from the University of Melbourne in 1995 and established Harlamb Endodontics (formerly Inner West Endodontics) in 1996. In 2012, Dr. Harlamb completed his Masters Degree in Health Law from the University of Sydney.
Dr Harlamb served as Editor-in-Chief of the prestigious Australian Endodontic Journal for 8 years, an Editorial Board Member of the international journal Dental Traumatology, and is a Past President of the Australian Society of Endodontology (NSW). He is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) in the special field of endodontics, a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists and a Fellow of the International Association of Dental Traumatology and has also been involved in forensic dentistry and victim identification. He is also a Practitioner Member for the Dental Council of NSW.
Dr Harlamb has lectured extensively locally and internationally and also published articles in Dental Traumatology, the Australian Dental Journal and Archives of Oral Biology.

Dr. Harlamb has a keen interest in the legal and ethical responsibilities of dentists. He is a Health Law Expert and has served as a medico-legal advisor to the Australian Dental Association (NSW) and as an Investigator for the Dental Council of NSW. He is also a past Board Member of the Australian Dental Association (NSW).
He was Chair of the Scientific Committee for the World Congress of Dental Traumatology held in Brisbane in August 2016. Due to his involvement in dental trauma throughout his illustrious career, Dr Harlamb was honoured to become a Fellow of the International Association of Dental Traumatology (FIADT).
Dr Harlamb is committed to providing continuing education and, throughout his career, has given lectures to dentists and dental students at the Universities of Sydney, Queensland and Melbourne as well as national congresses and in 2009 established a study group for dentists, the Inner Western Suburbs Dental Study Group, with membership exceeding 800 local dentists. Stephen has been awarded honorary fellowships to the International College of Dentistry and the Pierre Fauchard Academy in recognition of his services to dentistry. He was recently awarded an Honorary Life Membership of the Australian Society of Endodontology (ASE).
Stephen is a keen golfer and wine collector, and is married with two daughters and two rather lively Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
